Detailed Explanation of Core Equipment
Descaling Machine
Function: Removes iron oxide scale from the surface of raw materials (hot-rolled wire rod or bar) to ensure the surface quality of the rolled steel bars. The most common type is the double-drum bending type, which mechanically bends the scale off.
Cold Continuous Rolling Mill: This is the core of the entire production process.
Function: Reduces the diameter of the descaled steel bars and rolls ribs.
Types: The mainstream types are the Y-type three-roll cold continuous rolling mill and the horizontal double-drive rolling mill. The Y-type three-roll mill consists of three rolls spaced 120° apart, enabling twist-free rolling at higher speeds; the horizontal double-drive rolling mill has two mills working together (one for diameter reduction and two for forming).
Micro-tension Control Loop
Function: Located between two rolling mills, this device uses cylinders and displacement sensors, along with a PLC program, to regulate the mill speed, creating a micro-loop to prevent steel accumulation (material buildup) or excessive stretching during rolling.
Ultra-Audio Frequency Heat Treatment Unit
Function: Performs online heat treatment (such as annealing) on cold-rolled reinforcing bars, eliminating internal stresses caused by cold working, improving the ductility of the bars, and ensuring they meet standards. This equipment is particularly crucial for the production of high-ductility cold-rolled ribbed reinforcing bars.
Finishing and Collection Equipment
CNC Flying Shear: Driven by a servo motor, this equipment precisely cuts steel bars to length according to their speed on the production line.
Feeding Device and Fully Automatic Steel Turning Machine: After cutting, the feeding device smoothly delivers the steel bars to the turning machine, which uses stepping and sensor technology to neatly collect them.
Take-up Machine A take-up machine is needed if producing coils.
Packaging Machine: Finally, this machine is used to package coiled or straight finished products for easy transport, such as a high-elongation cold-rolled ribbed steel bar coil pressure baler.
