Wire drawing machine
Comprising a motor, reducer, wire drawing drum (turret), and wire drawing die, it is the core component responsible for the drawing operation.


Take-up Machine
The take-up machine uses a Φ1250mm Spooler reel with a maximum take-up weight of 4 tons (normal take-up is 3.5-4 tons). The seller will provide Spooler reel design drawings.
Control system
1) The frequency converter adopts the Orui series frequency converter;
2) The PLC uses SIEMENS S7-1500 series products, which can realize networked real-time monitoring;
3) The main control panel is horizontal;
4) The display screen is a SIEMENS 10.4-inch touchscreen.

Products Advantages

1) Each wire drawing machine has an independent frame. The frame structure is designed as a robust welded box to ensure the flatness of the machine table and the verticality of the facade. The steel plates and profiles used for welding are shot-blasted to remove rust. All components are subjected to stress relief treatment after welding, followed by machining to ensure the stability and rigidity of the frame structure, meet the requirements of high-speed drawing, and prevent vibration during high-speed or heavy-load operation.

2) Reducer: Utilizing horizontal input and vertical upward output bevel gear transmission, this hardened gear reducer ensures smooth and reliable transmission across all drums of the wire drawing machine via a frequency converter motor, high-strength belt, and hardened gearbox. The reducer features hardened gears, ensuring excellent lubrication and cooling; the normal operating oil temperature does not exceed 85℃. This design adequately guarantees lubrication of bearings and gears in the transmission system, with a gearbox safety factor ≥3. The reducer is equipped with an oil level gauge and utilizes a self-circulating oil pump for cooling. The oil filler port is located at the rear of the frame for easy oiling and inspection. The transmission belt tension is easily adjustable and has a long service life. (Lubricating oil replacement cycle: 27,000 hours)

3) The drawing drum is made of 42CrMo ring forgings with a surface hardening treatment, including rounded corners and bevels. The hardened layer height is 400mm, followed by grinding and finishing to a hardening depth of 2-4mm . The working surface hardness is HRC≥60. The angles on the drum surface ensure that the steel wires do not jump or entangle on the drum, ensuring a smooth and neat winding process. The wire accumulation height is ≥350mm, thus ensuring effective cooling of the steel wires. The drawing drum is connected to the main shaft via a key, and the main shaft adopts a tapered shaft design. During normal operation of the wire drawing machine, the tuning roller runs smoothly, and the oscillation is slight during speed adjustment. The drum structure uses a detachable water jacket. The drum wall thickness is 20mm

Drum Cooling: The drum cooling system employs internal water cooling combined with external annular air cooling. The air cooling power is 2.2KW. The internal cooling water jacket of the drum uses a narrow-slit design, and a labyrinth structure is used between the drum and the drum seat to prevent lubricant dust from entering the drum cavity through this gap, contaminating the circulating water and clogging the return water pipe. The drum water cooling uses a pressure-type hollow shaft for water inlet and outlet. The inlet pipe diameter is G1, and the return water pipe uses a 4-inlet, 4-outlet configuration, with all pipes being 3/4" aluminum-plastic composite pipes. The internal water cooling system is divided into two layers: bottom inlet and top outlet, with the bottom layer narrower and the top layer wider.

Die box :The structure is made of welded steel plates and consists of two chambers: a front chamber for drawing powder and a rear chamber for the mold. Both chambers have flip-top covers. The drawing Die uses direct water cooling with circulating water. A grid roller is installed at the Die box inlet. The Die has a hardness of HRC≥60 and a service life of over one year, with a quality guarantee. Each Die box edge is equipped with a guide roller to ensure that the steel wire is not scratched during Die jumping. The drawing Die size is φ70X40 (mm). The top screw assembly prevents water leakage. The drawing Die uses a pull-out structure with a cover plate for the powder box and includes a soap powder agitator. The agitator and rotation motor power is 0.75KW.

Tuning mechanism It adopts a straight-line tuning method, which makes the steel wire easy to thread without twisting. It can also achieve self-adaptation of Die wear and drawing process through digital control system, which can ensure the normal operation of any spinning drum equipment. When drawing steel wire, it can ensure that there will be no wire breakage when the machine stops suddenly at high speed.

Protective Cover: Adopts a fully enclosed structure, with rubber strips sealing the joints. It is equipped with a safety lock and a safety monitoring switch (to work with electrical systems to prevent the protective cover from opening during operation, and to force automatic deceleration). It features a resin glass observation port with a protective net; a small door is located on the top of the safety cover Die for easy application of lubricating powder.

Braking: Each main motor is equipped with a pneumatic brake device. The brake is a caliper brake. Normal stopping time: 10-60 seconds, which can be set by the user. Quick stop: within 10 seconds; Emergency stop: within 3 seconds.
