Cold rolling of ribbed steel bars is a precisely controlled process, the core of which involves using diameter reduction and rib rolling equipment, combined with possible in-line heat treatment, to obtain high-strength products.

Compared with hot rolling, cold-rolled products have higher dimensional accuracy and better surface quality. Compared with traditional cold drawing processes, cold rolling (especially multi-pass continuous rolling) can sometimes reduce intermediate annealing and other processes.

Reducing diameter and rolling ribs
