Generally speaking, wire drawing machines need to be lubricated during the drawing process, on the one hand to improve the drawing effect, and on the other hand to control the temperature to prevent oxidation. There are three main common methods of wire drawing lubrication for wire drawing machines, namely distributed lubrication in a single die slot, immersion lubrication and circulating lubrication system.
Dispersed lubrication in a single die slot is mainly used in non-slip accumulation-type multi-mode wire drawing machines, which has no restrictions on the form of lubricant. The circulating water in the mold groove plays a cooling role. Since the die groove is open, the lubricant condition can be directly observed for easy adjustment.
Immersion lubrication uses emulsion and liquid oil lubricants, which are suitable for sliding continuous wire drawing machines. The lubricant is contained in a special groove of the wire drawing machine, and the drum, wire segments, and molds are all immersed in the lubricant. The structure is simple and can continuously lubricate and cool the mold, drum, and wire.
In the sliding continuous wire drawing machine, the lubricant has a fixed composition and a certain temperature, and can be used alone or on several stainless steel wire drawing machines. Its advantage is that the metal shavings in the lubricating fluid can be fully precipitated, and regular cleaning can improve the cleanliness of the lubricating fluid.
The operation of the wire drawing machine is relatively simple. The operator only needs to place the objects to be polished on the corresponding fixtures in advance. Fix the clamp on the automatic polishing machine table. Start the automatic wire drawing machine. The wire drawing machine will complete the polishing work within the set time, stop automatically, and then remove the object from the workbench.
