By distributing the deformation across multiple passes with low compression ratios, the resistance to deformation in each individual pass is reduced. The compression ratio per pass generally ranges between 15% and 25%.
- High-capacity processing: capable of handling rod raw materials with diameters ranging from Ф6.5mm to Ф12mm; special models can accommodate input wire diameters up to Ф20mm, with finished monofilament diameter precisely controlled between Ф0.8mm and Ф5.0mm.
- High speed and high precision: The maximum drawing speed can reach 15–25 m/s, with AC frequency conversion speed control maintaining speed fluctuations within ±0.5%, and the finished product diameter tolerance controlled at the ±0.01 mm level.
- Powerful Cooling: To handle the significant heat generated during high-carbon steel drawing, the equipment is typically equipped with a combined cooling system featuring three water-cooling circuits and two air-cooling circuits, ensuring controlled temperatures for the roll and die.
