The difference between cold drawing and cold rolling!
- Cold drawing is to forcibly draw the round steel bar through the carbide wire drawing die hole. The effect of cold drawing is stronger than that of pure drawing, and the steel bar is not only stretched, but also squeezed. The cold-drawn low carbon steel wire obtained after one or more cold drawing can increase its yield point by 40% to 60%, but it loses the plasticity and toughness of soft steel, and has the characteristics of hard steel.
- Cold rolling is to roll round steel into steel bar with regular section shape in cold rolling machine, which can improve its strength and adhesion with concrete. During cold rolling, the steel bar deforms both longitudinally and laterally, so that its plasticity and internal structure uniformity can be maintained.
