Process

 

 

 

2.A complete flux-cored wire production line is a sophisticated combination of multiple equipment:

 

Steel strip rewinding machine→Surface cleaning machine→Rolling and forming mill→Rough drawing machine→Fine drawing machine.

 

Steel strip pre-processing equipment: This includes slitting machines and rewinders, used to cut wide strips into narrow strips of the desired width and rewind them.

Powder preparation system: This is the core of ensuring welding wire performance. The automatic powder preparation system automatically screens, feeds, measures, and mixes a variety of materials with high accuracy (e.g., ±0.1%). Formulas are manageable and traceable, significantly reducing human error.

Forming and Powder Filling Equipment: This is the core process of production.

 

Seamless Welding Wire: A forming machine gradually rolls the straight steel strip into a U-shape. A powder filling machine then precisely fills the U-shaped grooves with powder. Vibration and flattening mechanisms are used to ensure uniform filling.

Seamless Welding Wire: Profiled rollers are used to create grooves in the round steel coil, followed by powder filling.

 

Closing and Welding Equipment

Seamless Welding Wire: Rollers close the U-shaped opening, creating a mechanical seal.

Seamless Welding Wire: To achieve a complete seal, in-line welding equipment, such as laser welding, is used to completely weld the seam. A wire stabilizer is used to prevent wire vibration.

 

Reducing and Drawing Equipment

Wire Drawing Machines (Wire Drawing Machines): These machines cold-draw the wire through multiple dies to the final target diameter. For example, "Flux-Cored Wire Drawing Line Equipment" can be used for this process.
